The Super 72 is a high gain over drive based distortion effect. It has a super rich harmonic saturation that sounds like no other pedal. The gain is pre set and the pedal only has two controls volume and tone color. The tone color is an expanded sweet spot control that only covers usable frequencies. Hard left is a Billy Gibbons type sound while hard right is more of a Brian May type sound. Whether your amplifier is on it’s own or mic’d through a PA system, the Super 72 is designed with recording in mind and delivers a truly fat crunch.
